Why We Should Eat Food That Is Animal Origin?

Food is any substance absorbed into the body to provide nutrients for organisms. The majority of human beings eat food regularly, in their diets, for the energy they need to perform various functions. Food is generally of animal, plant or fungal source, and includes necessary nutrients, like proteins, carbohydrates, vitamins, or other minerals. There are different types of food, each having specific purposes and serving different needs. Some food is even poisonous when taken internally, but is safe when consumed in combination with herbs and medicines

Carbohydrates are the main source of food for humans, which are mainly found in the vegetables and fruits we eat every day. These provide energy to the body through the digestive process, and together with proteins and vitamins, form the basic diet of humans. Carbohydrates can be classified into two main categories: simple and complex. Simple carbohydrates like starches, glucose and breads; and complex carbohydrates like rice, pasta and cereals; provide more energy and are known as complex sugars, and are not absorbed well by the body.

Foods that contain large amounts of simple sugars are considered highly fattening, even though they may appear to be full of energy, but are devoid of the nutrients most people need. This includes vitamins, which are difficult to absorb in excess in simple sugars. Foods that contain a high amount of starch are also often low in nutrients; whereas foods that are rich in vitamin B2 are rich in carbohydrates. The reason for this is that vitamin B helps in the absorption of minerals and fiber. Therefore, sugary foods should be eaten in moderation, but at the same time, the intake of more sugary foods should be limited. Eating too much of sugar can be bad for health; however, it is not always necessary to completely avoid sweets, as there are certain vegetables and fruits that are so rich in sugar, that one does not need to entirely cut them out.

Some types of food are better than others, depending on how their composition affects your health or whether you want to lose weight or not. Meat and animal-origin foods, especially red meat, contains a large amount of calories; therefore, you will want to limit its consumption. However, if you do not eat animal source food, chances are you are not aware of the importance of carbohydrates in your diet. Fruits and vegetables are good sources of carbohydrates and can be consumed in considerable quantities.

Carbohydrates are needed to have the energy to move around, which explains why so many people are advised to eat more salads. Vegetable salads with a mixture of different colors of cucumbers, tomatoes and spinach are better than a single color of meat or cheese. When making a salad, it is best to include several types of green vegetables and use a blender to blend the food into smooth purees. When it comes to protein, most vegetarians and even most vegans enjoy eating eggs as they are a source of protein.

Eating vegetables and fruits are also important as a source of fiber; however, this should not be done in excess because their fiber content may constrict your digestive system. It is better to eat food slowly as this will help you avoid having digestive problems or any form of gastric discomfort. Lastly, it is important to note that while plant-based foods may be high in nutrition, they should not be relied on completely as a sole source of food. You should have them but it is always best to eat food that has carbohydrates as well as protein.
